A commitment to affordability, quality, equity. Aligned interest in providing higher-quality care at lower costs. Contracts that create financial incentives for delivering population-level impact.
Hear about how CalPERS is taking an innovative approach to supporting their members — and why bringing together the right partners is critical to the success of the program.
Join an intimate circle of benefits leaders for a peer-to-peer conversation about the leadership decisions defining our work right now. This session creates space to explore how we approach the most pressing challenges —when to make "big bets" that require conviction despite incomplete evidence, when to start with small experiments that accelerate learning; and how to navigate the core trade-offs between cost certainty and long-term value, member choice and guided care, innovation and organizational stability.
Through peer dialogue, you'll gain insights from leaders facing similar inflection points, explore practical frameworks for evaluating complex choices, and leave with a fresh perspective on how to balance incremental progress with bold transformation.
Trust is not built by technology alone - it’s built by how responsibly and transparently that technology is deployed. Using AI alone is not the unlock. It’s about leveraging the right data at the right moment, with the right context, to build trust and drive action at scale. When AI is deployed in this way, trust follows—and trust is what turns insight into action. It’s what keeps people engaged so that real value can be derived.
Hear how AT&T focuses on data and AI to drive better engagement and outcomes for their employees. How they’re pushing their healthcare partners to build technology that allows providers, members, and caregivers to act with confidence.
Double-digit increases in healthcare costs have become a burning platform for U.S. employers. Reversing the long-term trend and putting healthcare on a sustainable path requires broader, bolder solutions that holistically reimagine how the workforce accesses, experiences, and pays for healthcare. It requires alternative thinking.
Hear how Walmart is reimagining the care experience for their members – from how they’re driving engagement, to the role that primary care plays, and the way that technology supports the vision.
In healthcare, research shows that higher quality leads to lower costs. When you create value for people – through timely preventive care, through connected experiences, through connectivity in a maze of fragmentation – you also create value for those who are purchasing that care. But the equation isn’t that simple.
Hear from leaders at Humana and PSA Airlines about how they’re driving towards quality at their organizations – what they’ve learned and how they’re balancing carrots, sticks, and innovation to realize more value.
In August 2024, Shawn Smith, a registered nurse and clinical quality manager at Included Health, checked into a North Carolina hospital to undergo a routine procedure for a hereditary heart condition. The overnight stay she was expecting turned into an emergency heart transplant, 109 days in hospitals and rehab facilities, and a months-long recovery in which Smith and her husband, Nick, required ongoing guidance, advocacy, and support.
We'll sit down with Smith about her successful journey back to health, the above-and-beyond efforts of her care team, and the perspective she has gained about Included Health and the healthcare system from her life-changing ordeal.
